    Dr. Frank Frucci
    Head Veterinarian / Practice Owner

    Dr. Frank Frucci has lived in Fort Collins since 1970 and became a licensed Veterinarian in 1983. He has operated the City Park Animal Clinic for over 20 years. Although he has vast experience working with large animals, Dr. Frucci now cares for small companion animals. He is proficient in diagnosis, remedial care, and surgery. City Park Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary clinic for care of your animal family members. Dr Frucci is sensitive to you and your pet's needs. You will see his care and attention helps assure that your pet is receiving the golden standard of care.

    Dr. Kristina Simon
    Associate Veterinarian

    Dr. Kristina Simon is originally from Golden, Colorado. She moved to Fort Collins in 2012 to attend Colorado State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Loving Fort Collins too much to leave, she was able to stay and ultimately earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2020 from CSU. Dr. Simon enjoys spending time baking, fishing, and hiking with her family. She has three cats and a toddler at home that keep her very busy when she is not at work!

    Dr. Lisa Weiser
    Associate Veterinarian

    Meet Dr. Lisa Weiser! She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison school of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She continued her education with an internship in emergency medicine and critical care at a specialty clinic in south Florida. She has spent time practicing in Wisconsin and Seattle, and recently relocated to the Fort Collins area. Her interests include internal medicine, preventative medicine, and geriatric patient care.

    Mariah M.
    Certified Veterinary Technician

    Mariah is our newest team member and a certified veterinary technician. She has 7 years of veterinary nursing experience, and through that time she has fallen in love with the chihuahua breed, even having a couple of her own! Pictured with her is Bob, who's a rescue from Grand Junction, CO. Bob loves EVERYONE, especially chickens. He joyfully herds them to bed every single night.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Cat is one of the wonderful veterinary assistants here at the hospital. She graduated from college in 2015 where she received a Bachelors degree in Biology and Wildlife Rehabilitation. After graduating college, she moved to CO where she worked on an Equine rescue ranch while also taking classes at the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage. Through there she became a certified equine craniosacral therapist, a certified animal reiki practitioner, and a certified fear free practitioner. In her free time, Cat loves doing fear free training for dogs that have trauma based behavioral issues, and spending time with her “other half”, Kona, who’s a cane corso/pittie mix. Cat also enjoys hiking, making art, herbalism, gardening, spinning fire, and volunteering with local organizations.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Mya is one of our veterinary assistants currently looking to pursue veterinary school. She graduated from CSU with her Bachelors of Science in Zoology, and has experience working with wolves and wolf-dog hybrids, small exotic animals, and wildlife. A recent trip to South Africa solidified her love for wildlife medicine/conservation, and she hopes to be back there soon! Say hello to her next time you’re in the clinic, she loves to chat! In her free time, Mya is passionate about Dressage horseback riding, rock climbing, skiing, and sitting down with a good sci-fi or fantasy book.

    Veterinary Assistant

    Emily started her career working in dog day care and animal boarding. After three years of gaining animal experience and building skills, she solidified her passion for helping animals and learning the medical side of animal care. Emily started working in general practice in Lakewood, CO for a year before moving to Evans, CO where she found her love for shelter medicine at The Humane Society of Weld County. Though she no longer works at the humane society, she still helps with spay/neuter clinics along with other rescue work, and furthering her knowledge with continued education in her free time.
