Coming to the vet can be a little scary - not only for pets but for their families. Even pets on routine vaccine appointments can be a little cautious. We believe in minimal restraint and low stress techniquesThis includes being fed many very delicious treats during the appointments (Cheese Whiz on a stick anyone?) . Most of our patients are so engaged in their gourmet experience they never even notice the tiny prick of a needle.
Our appointment slots are 30 minutes long - allowing enough time for a complete nose to tail exam (including a fundic exam, which examines the back of the eye to check for issues like cataracts) and discussion of all your concerns. If there is something we didn't get a chance to discuss at the time, Dr. Ashley Hill is always available via email or through our after hours phone number. A copy of your pet's medical summary, blood work, xrays and other information can be sent to your family or any other recipient you choose.
At our clinic we believe in a partnership. Our doctors are here to discuss all the findings & options together with you to decide on the best care for your pet and your family. When we take xrays, you are brought back to look at them and discuss what we are seeing. When we bring your animal to our treatment area you are welcome to come back with them and not only witness but participate in their therapies. At our clinic, you are more than our customer, and we are proud to more than just your vet.
