Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in our area and the recent stay-at-home order, City Park Animal Clinic has decided to adjust our schedule. We understand that this has affected everyone in several ways and our goal is to limit the risk of exposure but to also continue caring for our patients and clients.  We are now open Monday through Friday for emergency procedures and appointments only from 8:00am to 4:00pm until further notice. Our staff will still be able to answer your calls on these days, however if you need any medications or food please go to: Vetsource is our online pharmacy that we love and trust, and all of your orders get shipped directly to your door.  If you feel that your pet has an immediate emergency, please call the Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Hospital at 970-484-8080. We also recommend the CSU Teaching Hospital or Four Seasons for emergencies.  For other urgent concerns, please call our after hours phone at 970-420-7095. Please do not call this phone number for medication refills or food requests to ensure that our staff are not overwhelmed with phone calls and to allow us to be available for the urgent concerns. This will ultimately limit the time we (and you) are away from home during this time.

We are happy to be offering virtual appointments with Dr. McGowan. Please call our main number to schedule this; if we do not answer, please leave us a voicemail and we will get back to you. You can also email us at

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but thank you for your understanding and patience as this is a difficult time for all of us.

Read What Our Clients Say

  • "I found my favorite vet clinic! Dr. Frucci and his staff are so welcoming and loving toward me and my dogs, giving me lots of great advice, and always having my dogs' comfort as the priority. We are so lucky to have found City Park Animal Clinic!!!"
    -Diane H.
  • "We moved to Fort Collins and needed a new Veterinarian, because we lived nearby at the time we found Dr. Frank by chance. Our husky was in a critical stage and close to dying during the 2013 floods, Dr. Frank actually walked across a closed bridge to administer a shot to our sweet girl. We are so fortunate we found such a passionate Vet."
